John Gray (born in Houston, Texas, in 1951) is an United States of America author on relationships and personal growth, best known for his 1992 book Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, and several other "pop psychology" books offering relationship advice.

He was married to fellow self-help author Barbara De Angelis, but divorced in 1984. He is currently married to Bonnie Gray and has three daughters, Lauren, Julie and Shannon.
